Data Requests and Deletion

Use this page to ask about, correct, delete, or export personal data that Karga Games holds about you, to object to its use, to withdraw consent, or to get help unlinking accounts. It applies to all of our games on every platform, to our websites, to the newsletter, and to our business communications.

Email a data request

What to include

1. Write “Data Request” and the game’s name (if it is about a game) in the subject line.
2. Say what you want: access, a copy, correction, deletion, objection, withdrawal of analytics or newsletter consent, account unlinking, or another right.
3. Tell us the platform you play on (for example Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, Microsoft Store, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, App Store, Google Play, Meta Quest, a cloud or subscription service, or a browser version).
4. Give the platform account ID or name you play with (such as your Steam ID, Xbox gamertag, PSN online ID, or Game Center or Google Play Games name), if your request is about game data.
5. For support, report, newsletter, or business-contact data, give the email address you used and an approximate date.
6. Send the request from an email address where we can reply to you.

Verification and response time

We check identity in proportion to the data concerned — for example by asking you to confirm control of the platform account or the email address the request is about. We reply within the time your law requires: one month under the GDPR and UK GDPR, 30 days under Türkiye’s law, 45 days under US state privacy laws, or the period set by your local law. Where the law allows an extension for a complex request, we will tell you within the original period. Requests are free of charge unless they are manifestly unfounded or excessive.

What Karga Games can delete

Subject to legal exceptions and to our ability to find the record, we can delete or anonymize:

• reports and feedback you sent from a game, with the platform ID and playtime attached to them;
• support correspondence;
• player-level analytics and crash diagnostics that our providers can find with an identifier you give us or that the game shows in its privacy settings;
• newsletter data (we keep only a minimal record that you unsubscribed, so that we never email you again);
• press, content-creator, and business-partner records, including the record of game keys we sent you (with the same minimal do-not-contact record).

We may keep some information for a limited time where the law requires it or where it is needed for security, fraud prevention, an ongoing dispute, or legal claims. We restrict it and delete it when that reason ends.

Platform accounts and platform data

A request to Karga Games does not delete your Steam, Epic, GOG, Microsoft or Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, Apple, Google, Meta, or other platform account, your purchases, or data that the platform controls, such as cloud saves, achievements, friends lists, and purchase history. Please use the platform’s own privacy or account settings for those. Our games do not create a separate Karga Games account. When a platform forwards to us a valid request about data that Karga Games controls, we handle it as the platform terms and the law require.

Linked accounts and cross-play

If a game links your platform accounts through a service such as Epic Online Services for cross-play or cross-progression, you can ask us to delete the linked data that Karga Games controls or to help you unlink the accounts. Some links may also need to be removed in the Epic account settings or on the original platform. Unlinking may remove cross-play, cross-progression, friends, and invitations between platforms.

Formal applications under Türkiye’s data protection law (KVKK)

You can also make a formal application under Law No. 6698 and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, in Turkish, in writing to our address below or electronically as described in the Turkish version of the Privacy Policy (Section 11). We answer within 30 days, free of charge.
